## **Breaking Records. Saving Lives.** 

**While I've never played a single inning of baseball in my life, I know that anyone that has ever been, or will be diagnosed with Cancer has had or will need to without a choice be forced into the fight of their life along with their family and loved ones to battle this terrible disease. My small sacrifice along with the help of my friends and family in an effort to raise funds for this great cause, will be insignificant in comparison to the the sacrifice that those who have fought and conquered, or unfortunately lost their courageous battle against Cancer.**

**From August 29th to September 2nd, I will be 1 of over 50 caring and courageous baseball players who will step up to the plate to challenge the Guinness World Record by playing in the 3rd edition of the World’s Longest Baseball Game - all while making a difference for cancer patients right here in Alberta.** 

**We will be playing baseball for 100+ hours straight - rain or shine - with the goal of raising $300,000 in support of the Cure Cancer Foundation. All funds raised through the 2024 World’s Longest Baseball Game will go towards the purchase of an MR Sim at the Cross Cancer Institute. This state of the art equipment will change the way we detect, diagnose and treat cancer.**

**We have all been touched in one way or another by Cancer. Your donation to this cause is greatly appreciated, and together, we are one step closer to KICK CANCERS ASS!!**
