## **Breaking Records. Saving Lives.** 

**From August 29th to September 2nd, I will be 1 of over 50 caring and courageous baseball players who will step up to the plate to challenge the Guinness World Record by playing in the 3rd edition of the World’s Longest Baseball Game - all while making a difference for cancer patients right here in Alberta.** 

**We will be playing baseball for 100+ hours straight - rain or shine - with the goal of raising $300,000 in support of the Cure Cancer Foundation. All funds raised through the 2024 World’s Longest Baseball Game will go towards the purchase of an MR Sim at the Cross Cancer Institute. This state of the art equipment will change the way we detect, diagnose and treat cancer.** 

**Thanks to the generosity through this baseball game, The University of Alberta researchers will continue to make strides in cancer research and improve the lives of patients and their loved ones.**
