## **Breaking Records. Saving Lives.**

**From August 29th to September 2nd, I will be 1 of over 50 caring and courageous baseball players who will step up to the plate to challenge the Guinness World Record by playing in the 3rd edition of the World’s Longest Baseball Game - all while making a difference for cancer patients right here in Alberta. Being the youngest participant, I hope to provide an example for and represent all other minor baseball players showing we all can give back to the communities that support us.**

**Currently, I am playing for the Sherwood Park Athletics in the 18UAA Gold level, and love the game of baseball and have played since I was 4. My dad’s parents met at a baseball game back in 1954 but unfortunately never got to see me play as they both passed away from cancer. I love the game of baseball almost as much as I’m told they did. Luckily, my mom’s parents have survived their cancer scares. Cancer has really affected my family.**

**We will be playing baseball for 100+ hours straight - rain or shine - with the goal of raising $300,000 in support of the Cure Cancer Foundation. All funds raised through the 2024 World’s Longest Baseball Game will go towards the purchase of an MR Sim at the Cross Cancer Institute. This state of the art equipment will change the way we detect, diagnose and treat cancer.**

**Your support will provide hope to people who would otherwise die of their cancer - despite all the best known treatments - as they will now have a better chance of a cancer-free outcome and more time with their families, friends and loved ones. What more can you ask for?**

Well, our u18AA team unfortunately lost in the semi's of provincials, but baseball isnt over. I have the Rawlings Cup coming up, and then the WLBG.
