It’s hard to believe it has been over 25 years since we graduated from our MBA program at the Alberta School of Business. Memories of our first week together, the intensity of the workload and the fun of the MBA Games and Formal still bring smiles to our faces. These moments were special and filled with shared experiences. They were the foundation of lasting connections and lifelong friendships.

It was with deep sadness that we learned of Dolores Peterson’s illness and passing in the spring of 2023. Many of us remember her vividly from our first year, especially those of us trying to navigate challenging accounting courses. Dolores was always there, generously sharing her time and knowledge and patiently helping us grasp complex concepts with a kind smile and infectious laughter. Dolores was a bright light in our class and her willingness to help truly exemplified her character.

To honour Dolores' enduring spirit, her dedication to leadership and her passion for helping others, we are establishing the **MBA Class of 1999 Award** endowment in her memory. This endowment will support female MBA students in perpetuity at the Alberta School of Business who demonstrate leadership and a commitment to community involvement — values that defined Dolores.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by December 31, 2025 to establish this endowment fund and award the first scholarship in 2026. We invite you to join us in making this vision a reality.
