**Alberta has the largest, youngest and fastest-growing Indigenous population in Canada. However,  First Nations, Métis and Inuit people are underrepresented in postsecondary institutions. First Peoples’ House provides the mental, emotional, spiritual, physical along with financial support needed to unlock students’ potential and empower them to succeed.** 

**First Peoples’ House Fund supports programs that are designed to lift First Nations, Métis and Inuit students up to achieve academic and personal growth. First Peoples' House is a space where First Nation, Métis and Inuit students can reconnect, rejuvenate and reignite their spirit.**

**First Peoples’ House's support creates a ripple effect that extends beyond the university community. By supporting the voices and spirit of First Nations, Métis and Inuit students, First Peoples’ House empowers them to succeed in their educational journeys. Upon graduation each student will carry along with them academic and cultural wealth with multidisciplinary skills. They will enrich and uplift their communities and workplaces and demonstrate leadership that will impact and improve the world around them.**
