**We believe in learning through play and its power to communicate and build meaningful connections— a universal language. Our goal is to promote every child’s right to play in the communities we serve. The purpose is to foster a sense of global awareness in students as they seek new perspectives in a cultural landscape different from their own.**

**Play Around the World (PAW) helps students develop that global awareness and citizenry by collaborating with schools, orphanages, and community organizations in a culture different from their own to deliver recreation, physical activity, sport and play to children of all abilities.**

**Since 2001, PAW has been providing a global education and inter-cultural experience to students in the area of physical activity and play. Opportunities for students have included South America, Southeast Asia, and Northern Canada serving children of all abilities. PAW teams have worked in orphanages, schools for children with disabilities and drop in recreation programs. Students learn, grow, give back, and their worldview evolves with contributions when they are back home (global to local).**
