The KSR Graduate Scholarships & Awards Fund empowers future leaders in physical activity and leisure. Your gift helps graduate students advance vital research, enrich teaching, and collaborate with communities to improve health, well-being and quality of life in Alberta and around the world.

Faculty of Law

Support experiential learning opportunities for law students through legal clinics, placements, the mooting program, and experiential course offerings. Help give our students the chance to hone their practical skills so they will be well-equipped to adapt, innovate, and lead with skill and empathy.

Alberta School of Business

Our students thrive when they are challenged to create, explore and tackle the thorny problems of our time. The Student Experience Fund supports scholarships and awards and programs that connect students with community organizations, and international and experiential learning opportunities.

Faculty of Engineering

The Engineering our Next Generation fund – or the ENG Fund – supports Faculty of Engineering undergraduate students’ beyond-the-classroom experiences from student projects to athletics, helping our students seize life-changing opportunities.

Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Pharmacy Student Experiential Learning Fund removes financial barriers, enabling students to complete rotations throughout Alberta. By supporting new programs and resources that enhance their experience, this fund empowers future pharmacists and researchers committed to advancing healthcare.

Faculty of Native Studies

The Faculty of Native Studies is a global leader in teaching, learning and community-based research concerning Indigenous peoples, their histories and contemporary realities. The Native Studies Fund enables us to continue providing exceptional experiences for students.

School of Public Health

The School of Public Health Emergency Fund gives to students facing difficulties due to unforeseen circumstances. By alleviating financial burdens, we can ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue their passion for public health and make a positive impact in their communities.

Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine

Recruiting and supporting Indigenous and rural students plays an essential role in tackling the challenge of access to rural health services, and the need for culturally safe, appropriate rehabilitation care for Indigenous Peoples.

Library and Museums

The Library Fund allows us to enhance our library spaces with new technology and resources for our students to excel. The Museums and Collections Fund enables U of A Museums to hire students, providing them valuable job experience with real world, hands-on activities.

Faculty of Education

The Education Student Support Fund ensures undergraduate students with unexpected financial difficulties can complete their studies, graduate and become the teachers they dream of being.

Faculty of Nursing

This fund enhances the overall education experience of Indigenous students who wish to practice in the nursing profession. It enables the Faculty to provide financial and research supports, as well as experiential learning opportunities, to Indigenous students.

Faculty of Arts

The Arts Beyond the Classroom Fund powers learning by doing, and promotes community engagement, entrepreneurship and the significance of making industry connections. The goal of the fund is to enrich traditional learning with practical hands-on experiences to help students become future-ready.

The Office of Advocacy & Wellbeing (OAW) helps all learners in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry stay healthy and on-track in their programs. From mental health to paying the rent, academic issues to accommodation concerns, the OAW is there when students and residents need a helping hand.

First Peoples' House

The First Peoples’ House (FPH) fund supports First Nations, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) students at the U of A. FPH provides holistic programs that are grounded in sacred ways of being and knowing that uplift FNMI learners to thrive in their academic journey and truly be proud of their heritage.

Vikings Athletics
