Match Details: All eligible gifts made during the Giving Day period of 08:00 AM MT, March 26 to 08:00 AM MT, March 27 will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 per gift, per fund, until the institutional match pool of $100,000 is fully exhausted.

The KSR Student Experiential Learning Fund removes financial barriers so students can take part in hands-on learning. By supporting placements in clinical, community, private, and research settings, it helps students gain real-world experience, explore careers, and build skills for the future.

Support Law students gaining hands-on experience while helping Alberta small businesses thrive. The Entrepreneurial Law Clinic offers free legal support through one-on-one guidance, workshops, and resources on business formation, IP, contracts, employment, and compliance.

Alberta School of Business

Our students thrive when they are challenged to create, explore and tackle the thorny problems of our time. The Student Experience Fund supports initiatives that connect students with community organizations and international and experiential learning opportunities.

Faculty of Engineering - EcoCar

EcoCar is an undergraduate engineering team developing the hydrogen workforce through experiential learning, where students safely design, test, operate, and innovate hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles for the International Shell Eco-Marathon competition.

Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Experiential Learning Fund supports pharmacy students during required placements across Alberta. Your gift helps offset travel and living costs so students can focus on gaining skills to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Faculty of Native Studies

The Faculty of Native Studies is a global leader in teaching, learning and community-based research about Indigenous peoples, their histories and contemporary realities. The Native Studies Fund enables us to continue providing exceptional experiences for students.

School of Public Health

The School of Public Health Experiential Learning Fund supports hands-on learning that prepares students to address real-world public health challenges. Funding for conferences and experiential opportunities helps students build skills, expand networks, and strengthen community impact.

Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine

Your support makes hands-on learning possible. Through the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine Teaching Clinics, students gain the practical experience they need to become skilled professionals — while individuals and underserved communities receive essential care they can rely on.

Library and Museums

The Library Fund allows us to enhance our library spaces with new technology and resources for our students to excel. The Museums and Collections Fund enables U of A Museums to hire students, providing them valuable job experience with real world, hands-on activities.

Faculty of Education

The Education Student Support Fund ensures undergraduate students with unexpected financial difficulties can complete their studies, graduate and become the teachers they dream of being.

Faculty of Nursing

The Nursing Excellence and Innovation Fund supports the next generation of U of A nursing leaders by reducing financial barriers through scholarships and bursaries. It also advances nursing research, education, and mentorship to help graduates meet the evolving needs of health care.

Faculty of Arts

The Arts Beyond the Classroom Fund supports learning by doing, and promotes community engagement, entrepreneurship and cultivating industry connections. The goal of the fund is to enrich traditional learning with practical hands-on experiences to help students become future-ready.

Figure Skating Club

Founded in 2012, the University of Alberta Figure Skating Club (UAFSC) is a student-led recreational club that supports skaters balancing academics and sport. We provide an inclusive community where skaters of all backgrounds stay active and continue training for competitions or tests.

Taekwondo (TKD) Club

Support the University of Alberta Taekwondo (TKD) Club. This martial art emphasizes both defensive and offensive techniques without the use of weapons, offering an excellent aerobic workout while building flexibility, stamina, coordination, and discipline.
