The Mojgan Daneshmand, Pedram Mousavi & Victims of Flight PS752 Memorial Fund

January 8, 2021 marks the first anniversary of the Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS 752 disaster. Over the past year community members, friends, and colleagues have worked to create a lasting legacy, honouring all of the victims of this tragedy, in particular those from our University of Alberta family: professors Mojgan Daneshmand and Pedram Mousavi, and students and alumni Pouneh Gorji, Elnaz Nabiyi, Arash Pourzarabi, Nasim Rahmanifar, Saba Saadat, Sara Saadat, Amir Saeedinia, and Mohammad Mahdi Elyasi. In their memory, the university established this memorial fund to create graduate student scholarships, with the goal of endowing these student awards in perpetuity. Your gift will enable future graduate students to fulfill their aspirations and uphold the legacy of the individuals honoured by this memorial fund.
