The Aga Khan Garden, Alberta — gifted by His Late Highness Aga Khan IV as a symbol of the continued intellectual, educational and cultural collaboration between the University of Alberta and the Aga Khan Development Network — is an extraordinary contemporary interpretation of Islamic landscape architecture in a northern climate.

People of different backgrounds come together at the Aga Khan Garden to enjoy its beauty, serenity and programming. It delights, surprises and inspires those who visit.

The AISA Aga Khan Garden Endowment Fund will ensure that the Aga Khan Garden continues to welcome and inspire those who visit it each year, well into the future. Your gift will become part of a permanent stream of income that outlives all of us.

Two anonymous and deeply dedicated supporters of the University of Alberta have made a profoundly generous pledge: they will match every donation received in support of the Aga Khan Garden, dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $200,000.

While the donors wishes to remain anonymous, their commitment is a testament to the belief that generosity is a responsibility, the power of this community, and the importance of celebrating the Aga Khan Garden.
