The Engineers in Action: University of Alberta Chapter builds pedestrian footbridges in rural Bolivia and Peru, transforming lives, creating opportunities, and removing dangerous barriers faced by underserved communities. Our bridges connect people to a brighter future.
Each year, our student team designs, fundraises, and helps construct sustainable bridges that provide year-round access to essential resources such as healthcare, education, and markets. These projects go beyond engineering; they represent safety, opportunity, and empowerment for generations to come.
