The Steadward Centre is a place where community, inclusivity, and transformation meet as we set a new standard where people experiencing disability are the experts and our staff and volunteers are here to support their journey. We can’t do this transformative work without you. The Steadward Centre is wholly funded by provincial grants and donations. The delivery of innovative programming and highly engaged staff at affordable fees is ultimately made possible through the generosity of our community. We need your support to continue.

The Steadward Centre is a place for people like Steve, one of the most dedicated exercise enthusiasts we know! Snow? Cold? Rain? Nothing stops Steve from showing up. The Steadward Centre gives Steve a place to go every day. As a long-time member, Steve offers a friendly greeting to all staff, members, volunteers, and guests helping everyone to feel welcome. He is one of the reasons why it is so important that people experiencing disability have a place to be active, to belong, to have friends, and most importantly to have somewhere that misses you if you don't show up.

The Steadward Centre is a place for people like Amanda, a dedicated instructor, passionate facilitator, and instant friend to our participants. She is the heart of our programs. She takes the time to learn what our participants need. She listens. She asks questions. She creates individual programs that meet people where they’re at. Together, ambitious goals are achievable. She is one of the reasons why it’s so important that The Steadward centre continues to be able to develop and inspire the next generation of adaptive physical activity practitioners.
