Indigenous students sometimes face barriers when studying in post secondary education. The Indigenous Student Experience Endowment in Nursing will support Indigenous students who would like to enter the nursing profession, at all steps within their undergraduate or graduate learning. It also supports education in Indigenous Health and provides opportunities for our students to learn from Indigenous communities through educational presentations and clinical placements.

The Endowment enables the Faculty to provide financial support to Indigenous students in the form of awards, scholarships, bursaries, as well as research support in the form of grants, stipends, studentships and fellowships. 
 
It also supports experiential learning opportunities such as clinical placements in rural Indigenous communities, mentorship and educational opportunities including conferences and symposiums.

Your support will help shape Indigenous students into leaders who can address the diverse needs of the communities they’ll serve.
